A Global Market Intelligence and Research firm considered a leading provider into the Financial Institution markets and other verticals are looking for an account manager to both contribute and to be an integral part of the team. Known for their information analysis tools, our client is looking to grow their existing global accounts. 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and successful account manager with proven sales experience and a background selling financial data and research tools into the Financial Services industry and other verticals.


Relevant Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of the Financial Institutions and who key players are

  • Ability to have in-depth conversations about financial information and research

  • Account Manager’s expertise in up-selling and retention

  • Relationship oriented, very reputable, reliable and resourceful

  • Ability to build strong relationships and leverage internal network to approach decision makers



  • Drive revenue by growing existing accounts in the financial markets & Large Enterprise

  • Provide client training and product demonstrations  to increase product’s usage and engagement, identify up-sell/cross-sell opportunities and build/maintain strong client relationships.

  • Develop and remain current with product knowledge, market information, and relevant news

  • Understanding electronic subscription data and how they can best serve each potential client

  • On-board new clients efficiently and accurately within required time frames. Have a comprehensive understanding of managing accounts with multiple entities in multiple countries

  • This role will involve travel through the UK and Europe



  • 3-5 Years of account management and data sales into financial institutions and affiliated market knowledge of the financial services industry

  • Experience with both retention and up-selling with proven ability to over-achieve quotas

  • Background in market data, financial data, market information, or data feeds

  • Proficiency using Customer Relationship Management tools i.e. Salesforce

  • Fluency in both written and verbal forms of English is essential. Other European languages fluency would be a distinct advantage (preferably Italian, French or Spanish).

  • Knowledge of Fixed Income products preferred but not required.
