C++ Software Engineer – C++, UNIX, Linux, Systematic, Low Latency, Python, Feed Handlers, Equities

Systematic Hedge Fund. London.

Highly Competitive + Benefits + Bonus

A Systematic Hedge Fund, based in London, is looking to hire a C++ Software Engineer to join their small development team building an in-house low latency trading system.

As the C++ Software Engineer (Python, Linux, Algorithms) you will be working on developing the core trading system and working with the Portfolio Manager to implement the trading algorithms into the system. You don’t need to have Financial Services experience but definitely need to be someone with a strong interest in technology who loves getting stuck in and making stuff work. You will have the chance to work with all areas of the fund including technology, trading and senior management. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys development and wants to be a Financial Services environment.

This Systematic Hedge Fund specialises in trading statistical arbitrage at medium-high frequency across s range of asset classes. They like to run a small team but very effective team and as such enjoy working with people who are passionate about what they do.

The C++ Software Engineer (Python, Linux, Algorithms) will need:

  • A good background in C++ Development – Essential
  • Experience with Linux/UNIX systems – Essential
  • Keen interested in the Financial Services industry – Highly beneficial
  • Experience with real-time/multi-threaded development – Beneficial
  • Experience with Python – Beneficial

Please get in touch with Tom Kemp at Harrington Starr for more information.
