Global Multi-Asset Exchange – London

6 month contract - £500 per day

A Global Multi-Asset Exchange is looking to add a Senior Front Office C++ Developer to their team working on all their front office trading applications.

As the Senior Front Office C++ Developer (Windows, Low Latency, Middleware, Tibco RV) you will be working on the development of their multi-asset front office trading systems. This role will require you to be confident talking to the business, particularly traders, and ideally have prior experience in a front office environment. You will be part of a team who are responsible for the low latency, real-time pricing system that delivers a consistent stream of data to the traders. The system needs to maintain a high output at all times and that all areas of the system are consistently performing to a high speed.

You will need to have strong experience developing in C++, ideally on a windows platform, and will need to have strong knowledge of standard messaging protocols such as Tibco RV, TCP/IP, FTL or 29West. Your background will be in the front office and you will be equally as capable talking about business concepts as development.

The Senior Front Office C++ Developer (Windows, Low Latency, Middleware, Tibco RV) will need:

  • Strong experience with C++ development on a Windows platform
  • COM Development Experience
  • Experience with Real-Time or Low Latency Trading Systems
  • Experience with one or more messaging protocols, e.g. Tibco RV, TCP/IP, FTL or 29West
  • Integration Experience
  • Market Data Experience

If you feel you are a strong C++ developer with strong COM development experience and would like to see the full spec for this role, please contact Brad Golder at Harrington Starr.
