Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + Benefits

A state-of-the-art commodities trading vendor who provide a niche commodities trading platform are seeking a talented C# developer to join their London team. They are undergoing rapid expansion due to their lucrative application products, which are being used across the energy and commodities sector. This role will offer Greenfield projects with a vast amount of business exposure.

Within this you will need a strong background in C# development with a deep understanding of the .Net library. You will be building applications using DDD and TDD methodologies across the full stack from the data layers (SQL Server) through to the GUI. Experience with WPF is advantageous, but you will need to have a good grounding with design patterns such as MVVM and/or MVC. You will be working with senior stake holder’s team and delivering solutions across their trade and risk platform. This is an ideal opportunity for a developer who wants has a passion for technology and seeking work within the financial sector.

Key requirements within this role are as follows:

  • Strong C# .Net programming experience (At least 4 years) – Essential
  • A computer science degree - Required
  • Good understanding of design patterns (MVVM) – Essential
  • Experience with GUI development - Required
  • Commercial experience of developing high performance multi-threaded applications- Required
  • Financial/Commodities experience - Desirable
