Financial Data Provider – London

Salary: £45,000 - £52,000 + Bonus + Benefits

C#, .Net, ASP.Net, SOAP, REST, OOP, IIS7, HTML, XML/XSD/XSLT, HTTP Web, SQL Server, Multi-threading, multi-server distributed web based applications.

A global leading financial data provider who have built a technology focused organisation who have an award winning working environment are searching for a .Net developer to join their team and work on their main product suite. This organisation are offering a role on their main product, which is used over a global scale, providing real-time financial data. You will be involved in development across the full software development life cycle working with an experienced team within an agile methodology.

This development role will see work on existing platforms and help the build of a new client facing application using MVC design patterns across the full architecture. You will need to have strengths in C# .Net development as this organisation are a .Net house and you will be working on their critical business applications. You will need strengths in SQL Server with a focus on stored procedures, queries, database design and data modelling. You will be required to build web applications using HTTP Web, SOAP & RESTful services and be proficient in ASP.Net & IIS.

Key requirements for this role are as follows:

  • At least 2 years’ experience with C# .Net programming – Required
  • Strong experience with MVC and ASO.Net – Essential
  • Strong OOP experience - Essential
  • Sold SQL server experience (Dev not DBA) – Essential
  • Experience within the financial markets – Desirable
  • Familiar with multi-threaded application development – Required
  • An Agile practitioner – Essential
