One of the most exciting Hedge Funds who specialise in macro trading have a great opportunity to join their team and work closely in building Greenfield risk engines, PnL and Portfolio Management systems. They are seeking a C# .Net Software Developer to join their London based outfit in shaping the future technology of this fund with its profitable backing from investors.
Within this role you will need to have raw talent with C# .Net development with in-depth knowledge of the .Net library. You will be a mathematically minded programmer who is passionate about working with complex data structures and algorithms. Ideally you will have experience with middle-ware technologies such as RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems and experience with SQL databases & Redis. If you have experience within the financial sector it is highly advantageous (especially derivatives knowledge) as you will be working on complex financial systems and interacting with Quants on portfolio managers.
Key requirements within this role are as follows:
- Solid development experience with C# .Net – Essential
- Strong mathematical skills as well as a computer science background – Essential
- Good communicator with the ability to perform paired-programming – Essential
- Financial experience with an understanding of derivatives – Beneficial
- Passionate programmer with skills across the full stack – Required
- Enthusiast for working with complex data structures and algorithms – Required
