The company

A leading software company that provides platforms for fund administration is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in London. With a client list comprising many of the world’s top fund administrators, insurance companies and investment managers they are a true market leader. As a growing market sector there is an abundance of opportunity for an experienced salesperson.

The role

  • Full cycle sales taking qualified leads through to contract signing in line with agreed annual quota
  • Build pipeline with prospective customers in your assigned territory of UK and Ireland
  • Work with pre-sales to ensure the platform is demonstrated to prospective customers and questions and queries are answered
  • Ensure the sales CRM is up to date and accurate and timely sales forecasts are communicated to sales leadership
  • Ensure commercial and contractual terms are negotiated to achieve the best possible terms
  • Identify new opportunities to increase market presence and work with product teams where required to enhance and develop the platform

Requirements

  • Proven new business sales experience in the financial services space
  • Experience influencing and negotiating at CXO level
  • Demonstrable knowledge of front to back office investment management processes
  • Experience selling high value solutions – seven figures licences deals
  • Able to manage concurrent, complex sales processes
