The Company

Harrington Starr have partnered with one of the hottest investment research start-ups in the UK.  Already with offices globally and almost 80 members of staff in some of the most recognised FinTech hubs across EMEA and APAC.  We have newly partnered with this firm and have been tasked with finding a natural sales hunter to join their growing team.

 

The Role

As a Business Development Executive with our client, you would be responsible for:

 

  • Prospecting, cold calling and going to market to meet with potential new clients
  • Act as brand ambassador for the company as a growing business
  • Engaging with any inbound enquiries and be efficient and timely on delivering information on proposition
  • Work with multiple teams and wear several different hats across the business, keeping focus on your core responsibilities
  • Maintain and update CRM, inclusive of frequent pipeline reports to ensure business is moving in the right direction

 

The Requirements

  • Experience working as a research provider is desirable
  • Proven sales track record
  • Minimum of 5 years financial services sales experience
  • Knowledge of buy side institutions

  • An academic accreditation
  • A book of contacts
