Salary: £30,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits

A leading FinTech organisation that specialise in analytical software for the Investment Management sector are seeking a backend developer who specialise in Python development to help drive their product forward. You will be developing and maintaining their web platform, which is built on an AWS platform that is transforming the investment management sector.

Within this role you will need to have a strong academic background with solid experience in Python and RESTful & JSON webservices. It is highly beneficial if you have experience with SqlAlchemy, Pulsar, Celery, NumPy, PyTables and Cython python libraries. There is a broad range of technologies and tools you will gain exposure too, but you must have a passion for working with the latest technologies and have a scientific approach to software development.

Key requirements for this role are as follows:

  • 3-6 years’ experience with software development on the backend – Required
  • A computer science degree (2:1 or above) – Required
  • Experienced with RESTful and JSON webservices – Required
  • Worked with AWS – Advantageous
  • Experienced in real-time web development – Required
  • Passionate about the FinTech space – Required
