Area Sales Manager - (SaaS, Maritime)

My client is looking for an Area Sales Manager with 3 years+ software sales experience. You will sell software well known in the industry, it is important to build relations with our prospects via direct contacts, events in the sector or via referral from clients.
- Responsible for geographic areas and act as KAM (Key Account Manager) for certain customers
- Responsible for the complete software sales process to large international customers, new and existing
- Conduct customer meetings, give presentations and software demos
- Negotiate solution contracts, attend events and conferences
- Cooperate closely with the other sales offices world-wide
- Some travelling in the UK and overseas is required
- A proven track record within sales and closing on C-level (USP focus on business)
- The ability to take ownership of the business at hand and meet budget numbers
- Must have solid client interface experience, able to quickly adapt to and understand the key drivers of the sector
- Minimum 3 years+ work experience in software sales
Language: English and local language written and oral.
Personal skills: Must have solid initiative, extensive interpersonal skills, communications and presentation.
