Application Support Lead

Application Support Lead/Manager (Head of Client Support - North America), based in Toronto, base salary 100,000 to 130,000 CAD

Harrington Starr's client, a well-established middle and back office  software company, is hiring for a Head of Application Support for North America in their Toronto office to start their support function in this location as a part of their global client support team.

This role is responsible for supporting the firm's clients - global financial institutions (investment banks) using the firm's middle and back office (post-trade) software.

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in application support for a financial institution with an understanding of middle and back office business processes, excellent communications skills for frequent interaction with the firm's clients over phone and email, solid documentation skills for keeping documentation up to date, and strong technical skills for investigating issues - Unix and SQL (preferably Oracle).
