A leading, global Hedge Fund are seeking an Application Support Analyst to join their City based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Application Support Analyst with both back office and middle office experience to join a well established and constantly expanding hedge fund where you will have the opportunity to both utilise and build on your existing skills.

In this role as Application Support Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and stability of the business systems and infrastructure managed by the Support team. You will be investigating and resolving issues as they arise and proactively monitoring critical systems. You may be expected to provide on call/out of hours support as the business requires and will assist development teams in testing bug fixes and enhancements to current systems.  

In order to be considered for the role of Application Support Analyst the following will be required;

- Strong SQL (mandatory) and Unix (desirable) scripting skills

- Oracle and SQL Server (mandatory) and SSIS & SSRS (desirable)

- Unix/Linux Experience with Windows

- Experience supporting trading, portfolio management, risk, settlements, reconciliations applications.

- Good knowledge of financial markets and instruments
