What you’ll be doing We are looking for someone to support our applications – predominately internally developed, but a handful of third-party ones too:
• Field incoming support requests from end users.
• Identification, prioritization, and resolution of reported issues using ticketing system(Zendesk)
• Take ownership of issues and escalate as necessary to internal developers and third parties
• Investigate PnL, Risk, STP/trade booking issues, determining if there is simply a booking error or tech issue.
• Monitor application metrics and dashboards, responding to issues and escalating as necessary
• Document processes and common exception types
• Identify potential improvements to monitoring and processes
• Run ad-hoc reports/queries against databases.
• Support the implementation of new solutions or applications
• Provide occasional support for users outside of normal office hours
• Provide backup desktop support Who you’ll be working with

The London office hasjust over 100 people, all working together in an informal open plan office. The wider technology team has 26 people working across a range of systems. What kind of skills do you need? • Some experience in supporting applications at a trading firm • Good understanding of technologies and the role they play in the business • Good SQL knowledge • Strong logical and problem-solving skills • Able to self-prioritize issues and knowingwhen to escalate • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills Apply for this job
