Account Manager – A fin-tech sales Account Manager, managing a book of business for customized news and market data (DaaS) buy,sell, and corporate clientele.

 

Our client is a top global Financial Technology firm which provides customized data, news, and analytic API’s, are looking for an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow revenue with their existing client base.

 

Required Skills:

-5-10 years’ experience in an Account Mgmt./Sales position to the financial services industry.

-Strong organization, time management, and customer facing skills to grow the client base and drive revenues.

-Understanding the Big Data space, how it is changing, how it affects the market, and the best way to utilize its importance to generate new revenue.

-Proven track record of hitting annual quota, ideally within the fin-tech market space.

-Excellent presentation, business writing, analytical and oral communication skills to C-Suite executives.

-College/University degree required, MBA preferred.

 

Job Responsibilities:

-Must manage a 'book of business' and prospect for new business. This means the AM is responsible for all aspects of the relationship with a defined set of customers.

-The number of companies managed by an Account Executive will typically be between 75 and 150, depending on geography and industry sectors.

-Candidates must actively upsell and grow revenue with existing Buy, Sell and Corporate clients.

-Must generate new revenue opportunities within existing accounts, work to renew existing agreements, negotiate new agreements, and generally handle routine relationship issues.

-Perform sales presentations/demonstrations to further the client’s knowledge of the software and solve/prevent any queries.

-Achieve/exceed sales objectives and quotas through the expansion and growth of business relationships (market share) with new clients using a calculated and process-driven approach.
