The company

A leading provider of front office solutions to buy side customers globally is looking to recruit an Account Manager to join their team in London. Their multi-asset class products are SaaS delivered and support portfolio managers and buy side traders to best achieve their trading goals. After a strong run of performance they need to increase their account management team to reduce the burden on the current members.

The role

  • Managing a portfolio of customers as their main point of contact
  • Managing issues, enhancements requests and day to day interactions
  • Work with various internal teams to ensure client are being delivered solutions that meet their business requirements
  • Manage the renewal process, ensuring the best possible commercial terms are achieved
  • Find and execute on upsell and cross-sell opportunity
  • Protect and expand revenues
  • Ad hoc tasks to ensure the best possible service and experience for your assigned customers

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing accounts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of buy-side front office application and workflows including asset class knowledge and technical understanding of applications
  • Able to build a strong rapport with client’s ranging from users to technologists and up to the CXO level management
  • Able to spot risks and ensure they are dealt with, drawing on support from other internal teams where required
  • Proven record of upselling into your accounts
