Account Manager – Fintech, Sell-Side, Trading

The company

An established provider of software, services and data to the global financial markets community is looking to hire an Account Manager into their growing team in London. They provide multi-asset class solutions to many of the biggest and best known financial institutions and are investing heavily into their products to increase their market share.

The role

  • Manage a book of UK based sell-side customers
  • Build and executive account plans
  • Build strong relationships with senior level client stakeholders and gather useful insight into the strategy with which to position solutions and services
  • Uncover and execute on upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Find and manage risks e.g. potential cancelations
  • Consultant with clients, providing thought leadership and being proactive in your approach

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in managing major accounts from either a business background or another fintech/data vendor
  • Proven record of meeting sales/revenue targets
  • Credible in front of senior level client managers
  • Proactive and creative in finding opportunity and solutions to meet client business needs
  • Knowledge of the financial markets – asset classes, trends, industry drivers
