The company

A leading provider of software, data and services to the global finance industry is looking to recruit an Account Director to join their team in London. This is a senior leadership role and will directly impact the strategy and revenue from the top 25 customers in the UK.

The role

  • Devise and implement the strategy for the key strategic accounts in the UK
  • Provide oversight and leadership to the strategic accounts team
  • Ensure my client is positioned as a thought leader to its key customers
  • Work closely with multiple teams globally to ensure revenue opportunities are maximised and client’s needs are delivered to effectively
  • Identify and solve challenges that impact the ability to retain, grow and deliver to the key accounts
  • Find and implement new ways to grow account revenues

Requirements

  • Proven senior level leader with experience managing large teams
  • Strong understanding of the financial markets, participants, trends and technology
  • Able to coordinate the dissemination of key messages to customers via various teams internally
  • Proven experience of the planning and execution of key account strategies
  • A thought leader able to gain credibility with a broad range of client and internal stakeholders
