Harrington Starr are seeking a Regional Division Information Security Officer who will lead executive engagement, cyber due diligence support and business cyber strategy leadership for the US region

 

 

Some of the key activities will include:

 

  • Provide cyber briefings for legal entity boards, risk and operating committees, and represents cyber to regional clients, exchanges, auditors and regulators
  • Engage in cyber and technology incidents as the regional delegate for the Global Chief Information Security Officer.
  • Evaluate, and prioritize cybersecurity risks, and to develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies
  • Maintaining relationships with other departments, external partners, and stakeholders, and to work effectively in a team environment across locations and timezones
  • Leading a team of cyber professionals in the US region
  • Working with the global cyber leadership team on the central strategy

 

 

In order to be suitable you will need:

 

  • Experience in a cyber security leadership role with demonstrable stakeholder management experience up to C level
  • A strong understanding of the US cyber regulatory landscape including experience leading internal and external regulatory requirements
  • A strong understanding of cyber security including: IAM, application security, security engineering and incident management
  • People management and leadership experience
  • Financial services experience ideally in gained from working in a highly regulated global environment across different timezones.
