What you will do
- Own new feature development from inception to production deployment.
- Contribute to the design and development of low-latency systems.
- Improve and maintain existing services while incorporating new functionality.
- Investigate and resolve issues in production systems.
- Enhance development and operations processes to boost efficiency.
- Actively participate in architecture and design discussions.
- Contribute to the out-of-hours support rotation.
What you will need
- Excellent knowledge in C# / .Net or willing to cross train from Java.
- Experience with Test Driven Development.
- A background working high performance, low latency applications.
- Background working in the finance industry or any other mission critical industry.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Strong experience of working with complex data structures
- Understanding of low level language features
- Good understanding of concurrency and garbage collectors
- A right to work in the UK indefinitely without sponsorship.
