Data Governance Lead | Investment Bank in London | £100,000 - £120,000 base + bonus
We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead in to enhance and lead risk data aggregation and reporting governance for our Investment Banking client in London.
This hire will play a pivotal role for taking ownership of their EMEA domain before expanding globally. You will focus on driving high standards of data quality, risk reporting, and compliance with global and regional regulations.
For this position, we require candidates who can do 3 days a week in the London HQ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and enhance risk data aggregation and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment.
- Implement and enforce data governance standards across business units.
- Drive change management initiatives across the Three Lines of Defense.
- Communicate complex data concepts effectively to global stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience leading BCBS 239 programs within financial services.
- Strong background in data governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Expertise in data risk assessment, control design, and testing.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
