We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer in Madrid on behalf of a top Fintech to design and deliver AI-driven solutions that solve real world business challenges for their clients.
You'll work on cutting-edge machine learning models, LLMs, and advanced AI systems, collaborating closely with stakeholders to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities
•Own and deliver AI-driven products and projects with real commercial impact.
•Develop LLM-based solutions, including prompt design, retrieval pipelines, and inference stack optimization.
•Design and implement scalable ML systems in Python (advantageous to have C++, Java, or .Net as well).
•Optimize and challenge existing systems and processes for innovation.
•Stay ahead of AI and technology trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Skills & Experience
•Strong ML fundamentals & experience building real-world AI solutions.
•Expertise in LLM inference stacks (KV Caching, Speculative Decoding, etc.).
•Proficiency in Python + exposure to SQL, AWS, or Azure.
•Entrepreneurial mindset & ability to take full ownership of AI projects..
•Financial services experience is a bonus, but not required.
•Top academic credentials in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
