On this episode of the Humans of FinTech Podcast, Nadia is joined by the brilliant David Sayers, Consultant at Finceler8.
This episode could be a wake-up call for many. Having redirected his career to focus more on giving to society, not just taking money, David reminds us to constantly reevaluate the work we do- recognise your privilege and reassess your skillset.
David truly hones in on how important it is to recognise the breadth of our skillset beyond our job title. You may be a banking director but you can also be philanthropic, a skilled musician, or an avid hiker. We must begin leveraging the entire diversity of our abilities, and using that to give back in a way we are innately able to.
Taking his own advice, David became heavily involved in charitable endeavours and assumed position as a school governor. Putting action behind his talk David is instigating tangible change in an accessible way.
Thank you David for reminding us all just how innate our ability to walk the talk is.
