The theme for #MentalHealthAwarenessWeekthis year was loneliness. A lot of people experience the feeling of isolation. In England, it has been reported that 1 in 20 adults feel 'often' or 'always' lonely. As a result of this, the chosen theme is fitting, especially due to the recent pandemic where feeling disconnected was often commonplace.
With the opportunity to raise awareness and get the conversation going, last week we invited our teams in for lunch to remind us that we're all in this together.
Mental Health and loneliness mean a lot to us here at Harrington Starr- and with our hybrid model in full swing, we know how important it is to make time to get together (and share a pizza!).
