We have been busy over at Harrington Starr, at the start of this year I was working on the Java and C++ desk where I had been since joining in 2016. However, I am now building a world-beating Microsoft stack, python, javascript and database development recruitment team. These verticals are what I have spent the majority of my career in to date so when the need arose for someone to take this desk on, I jumped at it. Since starting the desk in April, Tod, Rob, Joe and I have swiftly built a solid portfolio of clients and live roles. It seems that it’s currently a good time to be a technologist in London as we have circa 60 live requirements, some of which are multiple headcount.
Harrington Starr has been fielding record numbers of new requirements over the last few months, despite Brexit looming, our ever-evolving client base is full steam ahead on hiring and there is plenty of funding about for disruptors and start-ups. Also, as MiFID projects ramp down they have made way for a wide variety of interesting projects which, last year, were quashed by the need to be MiFID II ready. Blockchain projects seem to be accelerating in terms of investment and hiring in this space is intense.
So here is the team as it stands:
We’re continuing to expand as the year progresses but for now please do get in touch with any of us for either your hiring or career needs!
